The Pune Metro Line 2 extension from Vanaz to Chandani Chowk has received state cabinet approval. This 1.1 km extension will provide direct metro access to Bavdhan residents.

Following the merger of Bavdhan Budruk into PMC, the municipal corporation has initiated the drafting of the new Development Plan (DP) to ensure planned growth.

The major traffic bottleneck has been addressed with the completion of the multilevel flyover, significantly improving commute times towards Kothrud, Hinjewadi, and Mumbai.
